Il nuovo motore grafico che verrà utilizzato per Halo Infinite e successivi, lo SlipSpace Engine è ancora in lavorazione presso 343 Industries, almeno da quello che traspare da un annuncio di lavoro di Microsoft, nel quale starebbero cercando un Software Development Engineer in grado di aiutare lo studio di sviluppo a costruire il motore grafico.

343 Industries, the studio developing Halo Infinite, is looking for a talented, passionate, and effective Software Development Engineer to join our core engine team building the SlipSpace engine to power Halo Infinite. Responsibilities

Implement features for SlipSpace engine

Participate in code reviews of other developers on the core engine team

Collaborate with engineering and creative content teams on features

Provide work estimates and plans for core engine leads and production to scope, plan, and track feature work

Author unit and regression tests to ensure stability

Debug and fix issues in multiple areas of the engine

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of professional C/C++ development experience

Experience working on a shipped game title

4 years degree in computer science or engineering

Bonus:

Experience shipping AAA games on Xbox One or PC

Experience with multiple AAA game engines

Strong debugging skills

Deep understanding of multithreading

Experience with performance analysis and associated tools such as PIX
